Beijing Qidi TopEnergy Builiding Information Technology Co.Ltd is a high-tech company, whose major shareholder is Qidi Group (Tshinghua Science Park). Our core business is to provide a database on energy-conservation related products based on Web 2.0 technology and to offer information on building energy conservation to the industry. Our goal is to become an internet platform for technology exchange and product promotion in the green building industry through providing industry information, commercial opportunities, technology information, and useful web tools.? TopEnergy is a special website to provide product information, technology, industry news, and stories on people in the industry. ?TopEnergy was founded on Oct 19 2003. Since its founder, Mr. Junpeng Huang, graduated from Tongji University, the website’s original name was Tongji University Building Energy Efficiency Forum. The name was changed to TopEnergy on Nov 23, 2003, and was again changed to the Green Building Forum on May 10, 2005.The forum now has over 60，000 members from worldwide, including the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Hongkong, etc. ?Of course, the majority of our members are from the mainland of China. The number of our members is now increasing by almost 100 every day. During the past five years, TopEnergy has become the largest and most influential industry information and technology exchange platform in the Chinese green building industry.? Our website has achieved multiple “first” in China.. The first online technology exchange platform in the green building industry; the first website publishing an online newsletter for the green building industry; the first website organizing a nation-wide seminar on green buildings; the first website initiating the Study on the Green Building Development in China as a non-governmental organization; the first website establishing the largest energy-conservation product database for the green building industry. On October 1, 2007, TopEnergy published “Green Building Assessment”, which was entrusted by China Architecture and Building Press. The book was sold out in a short time, which enormously satisfied the demand of the Building Market of China about the Foreign Green Building Assessment System.. The detail information is as follows:
Green Building Assessment is the first book in China that systematically introduces some leading main stream green building evaluation systems of other countries and their operational mechanisms. This book comprehensively the U.S. LEED, U.K. BREEAM, Japan CASBEE, GreenCalc+, Taiwan Green Building, Australian NABERS as well as their cases and markets. Furthermore, upon the existing green building development in China, the book introduces the Ecological Footprint concepts. TopEnergy has formed several Voluntary Mission Teams, for example, Translation Team, News Team, etc. Heretofore, TopEnergy Web Team has finished two book’s translation, and publishes 8 pieces of articles on academic periodicals. All these works are finished through internet communication and cooperation, some of team members even don’t know what his/her cooperator looks like.

TopEnergy hold the Green Building Research seminar and LEED Workshop at fixed period. We also invited Mr. Robert Watson and other experts to promote the advantages of LEED and Marketing Strategies to the public.
TopEnergy Green Building Forum holds LEED workshop, have about sixty attendances. Managers and engineers from Parsons Brinckerhoff (Consultant Firm), Siemens Building Technologies Co.Ltd, Trane (Equipment Manufactures) ?and from some large real estate developers attended the workshop.
TopEnergy2008 Green Building Annual Meeting has attracted more than 260 attendances. The speakers came from famous international design and ing company. The major parts of audiences came from the domestic consultant companies searching for commercial opportunities and the developers who are searching for the potential partners.
TopEnergy Green Building Forum hold LEED training for charging, which have about forty member. The project team from the real estate companies and engineers from design institute attended the training.
